Coastal Shrimp Rolls
Get to Know this recipe
Want to taste freshness and sunshine in a sandwich? AYE!!
Thanks to MyFitnessPal's for this New England inspired shrimp roll recipe. These rolls are wicked good! They make a fresh meal after a long day on the beach. When a day comes together with perfect weather and food, you can't forget that great feeling.
Be sure to pick fresh shrimp and know the source of your shrimp. Imported shrimp vendors often misrepresent the shrimp's origin. Not having this information does not allow you to know if the shrimps has been contaminated with pesticides, antibiotics or antibiotic resistant pathogens. Pick fresh! If you do, you can expect to get a good dose of protein and healthy fat. This crustacean is low in mercury, high in vitamin D, and a good source of Selenium and Omega-3.
So whether you are leaf-peeping in New England or sunbathing on the Gulf Coast , I hope you enjoy getting your (shrimp) roll on!
