Back to the good stuff- Calorie per calorie, the Chia seed is one of the most nutritious foods on the planet. They are non-GMO and naturally free of gluten. High in antioxidants, they help in your body fight the production of free radicals that can lead to cancer! Chia makes a great addition to your breakfast and can be added to smoothies or used to thicken sauces. There are sooo many different ways you can incorporate them into your diet! How to Make
Mix coconut milk and chia seeds and let stand for 5 minutes. You can soak overnight so that there is less wait time in the morning, and your chia mix is cooled. In your cup, layer yogurt, Chia, and top with bananas and blueberries. Finally, add coconut nectar, a dash of cinnamon, and a dollop Reddi-Whip almond cream.
Ingredients
3 to 4 tbls of Chia Seads. I recommend non-GMO Roots Circle Chia seeds
1/2 Cup of blueberries
1/2 Medium size banana
1 tsp of Coconut Nectar or Maple Syrup
5.3 oz Banana Cream Greek yogurt. We used Oikos, but there are other brands available at your grocer
1/2 Cup Coconut, Almond, or Oat Milk
Dollop of Coolwhip Almond Cream
